The 100 Concepts for Cultivating Creativity card deck is intended as a series of prompts for musical creation. The concepts can be applied to improvised practice, improvised performance, and/or composition. This resource aims to provide teachers and students whose predominant focus is on notated music with strategies and resources to explore improvisation and the creation of original music. Music makers of all ages and abilities are invited to utilise and explore the 100 Concepts for Cultivating Creativity card deck. The concepts may be applied to any instrument or voice. The cards can be utilised in solo, duo, or ensemble settings of varying sizes and instrumentations. The 100 concepts are a starting point, designed to unlock, inspire, and cultivate possibilities and ideas personal to the user.
